CANON LIMITED EXTENDED WARRANTY
The limited extended warranty set forth below is given by Canon Canada Inc. (Canon) with respect to the Canon product purchased with branded accessories and options designed for use with the product listed on the registered extended warranty (collectively, the Product). This extended warranty is transferable and is only applicable to the model and serial number listed on the registration confirmation document provided by Canon. Canon warrants the Product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for the extended warranty period listed on the proof of purchase. During the relevant extended warranty period, Canon shall, in its sole discretion and without charge, repair or replace any defective part with a new or comparable rebuilt-part or replace the Product with a new or rebuilt Product. Warranty replacement shall not extend the extended warranty period of the defective Product. This extended warranty shall not extend to the Canon branded individually purchased accessories or peripherals for the Product, for which a separate warranty may be given, such as Battery Packs, Camera Lenses and Flashes. Nor shall this extended warranty cover other consumable parts or consumables, such as DVDs, SD Cards, Printheads, paper and ink cartridges, as to which there shall be no warranty or replacement.

NOTICE CONCERNING THE LEGAL WARRANTY

The Consumer Protection Act gives a warranty on all goods you purchase or lease from a merchant.

The goods must be usable

for the purposes for which they are ordinarily used (section 37 of the Act) and
in normal use for a reasonable length of time, which may vary according to the price paid, the terms of the contract and the conditions of use (section 38 of the Act).

Please note that a manufacturer's warranty with this product begins at the time of purchase. CarePAK extended warranty begins after the manufacturer's warranty expires.
